Best Africa Trading LLC is a B2B specialty food import company headquartered in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. We source directly from producers across Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon — and supply restaurants, food manufacturers, and specialty distributors across the US Northeast corridor.

Our model is on-demand sourcing through a proven West Africa producer network, zero inventory held, Pro Forma payment terms on every order. We are not a warehouse operation or commodity broker. We are a trading company that runs on direct producer relationships.

The Afro Cassava Project

Our lead category is spirits. Afro Cassava is a BAT house-brand cassava spirit produced in Lomé, Togo by ITRA-certified distillers. Three expressions — Original 40% ABV, Pineapple-Coffee 35% ABV, and Spiced Bitters 40% ABV — are in federal TTB label approval. We will be among the first US importers of West African cassava spirit at commercial scale.
